What I delivered

Portrait photography

Inspired by vintage film photos, I set out to get a series of cinematic shots in the water and on the beach for Jenny & Vi.

The shots are a mixture — some taken on vintage glass, other on a more modern lens. The water shots were challenging due to the wind on the day, but the wind and the moody sunset gave the shoot a very cinematic quality which jumps off the screen when paired with vintage glass.

A Walk in the Park

Spurred by the purchase of some new filmmaking equipment, I filmed this short piece with Vi. It turned out amazingly!

A free day with some friends presented the perfect opportunity for me to get some practice taking portraits, something I haven't really done before. I'm really happy with how these turned out and can't wait to do more.

Stradbroke Island 2020

A relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions meant a return to the beach for me. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful place so close to my home, and I am super happy with how these images turned out.

This was an unexpected trip mostly prompted by a Jetstar sale - It was amazing nonetheless and I still find new things to love about Japan every time.

North America 2023 Web Series

At the start of 2023, I headed over to North America for a month of travel across America. Whilst I enjoyed the sights and places, the highlight of this trip for me was the people I travelled with and the locals I met. This video series is a nostalgic look back at the trip - inspired heavily by film.

A music video for a cover of Vance Joy's hit song

This photoshoot was intended to evoke a light and care-free feeling as a contrast to the dominant experiences many of us have day-to-day with work and other responsibilities.
